Copycat Boston Pizza Shrimp Tacos
I looooove finding new things to cook my fiancee. My wonderful fiancee… who has very specific tastebuds. 😉 As an aspiring homecook, this only makes for a very fun challenge.
One of his favourite meals out is Boston Pizza’s shrimp tacos. So, I took to their menu and figured out how I could go about remaking them at home.
And Johnny professed that these were one of his favourite meals I’ve ever made, so I thought them worth sharing.
I can hardly say I “made these from scratch.” They are literally composed of easy, meal-prepped ingredients. Feel free to add a squeeze of lime and cilantro if that is your preference!
Breaded Shrimp Tacos
12 breaded shrimp
1/4 cup red onion, finely diced
1/2 cup tomato, finely diced
1 cup romaine lettuce, chopped
1/4 cup sweet chilli sauce
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup tortilla strips
4 small flour or corn tortillas
1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Arrange shrimp on greased baking tray in a single layer. Cook in oven for 18-20 minutes, turning once halfway through.
2. Assemble equal amounts of each ingredient amongst each of the tortillas. Enjoy while the shrimp is hot!
