Reflecting on 20 Years

Today is my 20th birthday.

In many ways, it seems surreal that I’m a 20 year old woman. It seems only yesterday that I was a 7 year old who feels that 20 is miles away.

In many ways, I feel much older. That I’ve lived through 5 lives, experienced a lot, and learned so many different lessons already.

I know that a big part of the feeling comes from the transition from “old man/new man” when I again invited Jesus into my heart almost two years ago.

Do not lie to one another, since you laid aside the old self with its evil practices, and have put on the new self who is being renewed to a true knowledge according to the image of the One who created him COLOSSIANS 3:9-10

Through the eyes of my Saviour Jesus, I am a vessel through which He works, created for that very purpose. And all of Cassie wants to be all of His. And by His good graces, more every day He draws me to Him.

One major addition for the Lord’s glory has been my relationship with my amazing boyfriend Johnny.

As well as living with amazing, Christ-seeking roommates, one of them being this lovely lady.

May Cassie age 20 look less like the world every day, and more like Jesus every day, thanks be to God.

Welcome! Ever since I was a little girl I have wanted to own a blog, and I created this one to inspire others and help myself. I am a passionate twenty something-year old woman with a love of cooking, tap dancing, and meeting new people-- and of course, primarily an intention to die to my human self and seek God with my whole being. I will eat anything with peanut butter and love spontaneity. I aim to live life in submission to what Christ has for me. I'm currently studying Christian Theology and English at Wilfrid Laurier University in Ontario, Canada.
