My new favourite oats are perfect, and I have the recipe for you down below!

1 cup quick oats

2 cups water

1 tsp cinnamon

1 tsp Himalayan salt

2 packs stevia

1/2 Apple

2 T lemon juice

1/4 brewed coffee (or a shot of espresso!)

1 T organic peanut butter

1 T cacao

2 T water

1/2 banana, frozen and sliced

1. In a pot over high heat, bring oats and 2 cups water to a boil. Boil and stir 1 minute; reduce heat and let simmer until thick and creamy.

2. In another pot, add cinnamon, salt, 2 T water, lemon juice, 1 pack stevia, coffee, and apple, diced. Bring mixture to a boil, stirring occasionally. Boil and stir one minute; reduce heat and let simmer, until much of the liquid is absorbed (about 10 minutes).

3. In small dish, place peanut butter, cacao, 2 T water, stevia, and pinch of salt. Microwave approx. 15 seconds; stir.

4. Arrange banana on top of warm oats; add chocolate peanut butter sauce and stewed cinnamon apples. Enjoy hot, or refrigerate and eat cold! Have fun adding things like maple syrup, dates, almond mylk, etc.

mornings with breakfast and coffee and the Holy Spirit are most definitely my favourite time of day.

For me, waking up earlier to listen to His voice and pray and allow Him to rid the clutter is so vital. // Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell. MATTHEW 10:8

I want to let this gospel speak for itself but I also want to share how the Lord spoke to me through it. Living in this world can make us think that “real” killers are human beings also within in the world… who will also die. And what is after death is FOREVER– this should bring PEACE! But our fear should not be of other humans who are capable of killing our bodies, for that only leads to a bit of a quicker “forever.” Who can kill both our soul and our bodies? I am asking the Lord to continue to reveal to me the ways that the devil is fighting for my heart.

Welcome! Ever since I was a little girl I have wanted to own a blog, and I created this one to inspire others and help myself. I am a passionate twenty something-year old woman with a love of cooking, tap dancing, and meeting new people-- and of course, primarily an intention to die to my human self and seek God with my whole being. I will eat anything with peanut butter and love spontaneity. I aim to live life in submission to what Christ has for me. I'm currently studying Christian Theology and English at Wilfrid Laurier University in Ontario, Canada.
