Natiya. Can’t really stop thinking about this little one… I’ve always had a passion and calling to kids but never have fallen so in love with one so young.
Music. Really adoring an artist my boyfriend showed me, Julian Baker. Her album is on repeat before I go to bed!
Basketball. Also because of him, I watched the Raptors game 7– with my glasses on– just me and my dad on Sunday and actually LOVED it.
Food. I started fearing animal products… erm, I don’t know if that’s the right term. Basically I’ve been eating vegan for about two months and didn’t think it was restrictive but I’ve lost about 7 pounds and while my brain is happy about that I know it wouldn’t do me good to lose anymore… I just need to pray about this and have been able to incorporate some chicken, eggs, and goat’s milk the past few days. I’ve watched some horrifying videos on the treatment of animals and while I believe we’re meant to eat them, I am newly strictly passionate about supporting local farms only.
Job. I’ve been doing 4 days a week at Cora’s and 1-2 a week teaching dance but definitely want more hours for the summer. I’m applying to multiple Starbucks and really hope I get one of them!
Friends. I’ve been spending so much time with Sammy lately which has been so good, because last year we hung out every single day and this years our schedules have been so different, but it makes being with her so wonderful. I’m missing my Christian Studies girls like crazy!
Hair. I have an appointment set up finally to hopefully go much lighter, maybe highlights? I really can’t de use exactly what yet, but I just know LIGHTER.
Dance. Slowly but surely my splits are getting there again… My turns are sharper… toe pointe comes easier… my tap has never really left me, but teaching Krystal has been a blast! It’s so great to be getting back in it and hopefully joining some classes at Laurier next semester.
The Word. Today’s study was in Ephesians and while it’s a book I’ve read over multiple times, it is impossible to stop studying.
Street Smart? The other day my mom was chirping me so much and made a joke that I have the whole package besides my street smarts… goals for the summer?;) Hopefully getting contacts will help since I’m literally half blind, but also learning to drive! Lots of big stages and I’m blessed to be walking through them alongside incredible people and immersed in the goodness of the Lord.
