I have a strong conviction that nourishment in the form of food is a beautiful and delicate thing that can be graced for our bodies if we treat them right. We are meant to be fed with gladness and abundantly but to eat from the natural sources that God graced us with. The greatest motivation for that comes from the fact that He provides and provided from the very beginning. Much of what has come from this world is the result of sin, and so many “man-made” chemicals make us sick and contribute to our bad health. Delicious and fulfilling foods are found right in the earth.

Some of my favourite paleo meals:

Oatmeal. Rolled oats cooked and topped with fruit and nuts is my go-to breakfast.

Stir Fries. Whole grain rice, veggies, and expeller pressed oils.

Homemade Hummus and Veggies. Easy to make with oil and chickpeas.

Natural Nut Butter with Dates and Cacao. Nature’s candy, without all the junk.

All the pain in this world is caused by things of human invention for human gain, not of the Heavens. God blessed me with a passion for whole foods, and I pray I can use that passion to bring a fruitful message and that ultimately He will diminish my eating disorder through that, rather than having it reaffirmed or strengthened.

Welcome! Ever since I was a little girl I have wanted to own a blog, and I created this one to inspire others and help myself. I am a passionate twenty something-year old woman with a love of cooking, tap dancing, and meeting new people-- and of course, primarily an intention to die to my human self and seek God with my whole being. I will eat anything with peanut butter and love spontaneity. I aim to live life in submission to what Christ has for me. I'm currently studying Christian Theology and English at Wilfrid Laurier University in Ontario, Canada.
