WHAT I ATE WEDNESDAY

Hey there! Welcome!
Today’s WIAW is raw and imperfect, as always.
Breakfast this morning was early as I had a very early hair appointment. I made a regular bowl of oats with peanut butter, cacao, sliced banana, and blueberries and drank a glass of almond milk with it. I left for my hair appointment at 7:30 and didn’t leave the studio until 1:30! Pam, my wonderful hair dresser, and I talked about rapture and grief and God’s grace and denominations and religion verses Jesus the entire time. She is a gift from the Lord!

Snack. On the bus ride to school, I snacked on a chocolate chip clif bar. I missed my afternoon clas but made it just in time to spend some time with Laura and catch up. Soon after, Johnny and I headed to his place for some much needed time together (part of which was spent napping– key).
Dinner. I used one of Johnny’s white flour tortillas, added tomato sauce and veggies, and baked it in the oven. Johnny prayed and asked me a few times if I was eating enough, so kindly and comfortably and in such a way that is out of Christ’s love. Ed definitely had a grip here and I don’t even think I was fully aware until later, when I thought back and realized the big plate of pasta with sauce and ground beef plus a Coke Johnny had for dinner. His normalcy around food and ability to glorify Christ through His meals is definitely a good thing for me to be around.
Snack. Christian Studies class was a little frustrating tonight in ways that I talk to Johnny and my friends in the program about often. I took a position in prayer to Cheist and just giving the hands and institutions involved to Hom. After class, Johnny, his brother, and I finished off the Honbitt series, which is fantastic, I’m sure you all already know. Johnny drove me home and as always served as just a light today. I am so blessed by him and so many in my life. When I got in the door, it was just before 2 am, and the idea of eating anything was terrifying. But I thought back to what I’d eaten all day and realized that it wasn’t nearly enough! So I made another small bowl of oats with Blueberries, peanut butter, and cacao. Alongside a cucumber with peanut butter!
