Oh what a gracious God we have in Jesus.
This morning I woke with the eager intention to watch YouTube videos and chill before my shift at work. God had a different plan.
I was led into the Word and spent my morning there, with Him, and the Spirit spoke a few verses loudly into my heart.

Now listen, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money.” Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes. Instead, you ought to say, “If it is the Lord’s will, we will live and do this or that.” JAMES 4:13-15
For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, and in Christ you have been brought to fullness. COLOSSIANS 2:9-10
Therefore, since Christ suffered in his body, arm yourselves also with the same attitude, because whoever suffers in the body is done with sin. As a result, they do not live the rest of their earthly lives for evil human desires, but rather for the will of God. 1 PETER 1:1-2

Thank-you, Lord, for bringing me to You.
I made and ate a yummy breakfast before heading off to a chill and wonderful Starbucks shift. I worked the majority of the shift on front till, and had some awesome interactions with customers, praise the Lord! So many lovely people.
At the end of my shift, I stayed at work to do some work on choreography and recipes for a few hours before heading home, making dinner and snacks and catching up with my beautiful younger sister Courtney. I have not had many opportunities to be with her lately, and so this meant a lot.
The evening brought a spontaneous coffee catch up with Daniella, which led to meeting up with her boyfriend and two of our other friends, and then to Daniella’s house to finally meet her new kitten, the most precious thing I’ve ever seen.

I am exhaustedly heading to bed now, thanking God for a glorious day and praying into tomorrow. What a friend we have in You, Jesus. Bring me always, only, always to my knees before You, for you are my all in all.
